Jen Friend, born and raised in Louisiana has been singing since she was old enough to hold a microphone. She first came to Nashville when she was 14 years old, and knew she was home. “My first time in Nashville I saw more musicians that I’ve ever seen that shared the same love and I knew I had to be close to it." After graduation she left her home town and moved to Tennessee.

Although her roots may be country and bluegrass, she doesn't sing like it, her influences range from traditional country, blues to rock and roll. With no trouble expressing herself through music, Jen sings with incredible passion and her all. Watching this woman sing live is an experience you don’t want to miss.

Jen has been fortunate enough to participate and volunteer with various organizations including The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association, Rock and Roll My Soul, and Musicians Care as well as other various charities and events.

While she writes, and sings her own music, performing with other artists is a passion in its own. From oprys, and night clubs, to festivals and fairs, Jen has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Charlie Daniels, Johnny Hiland, LeAnn Rimes, Andy Griggs, Jimmy Hall, and Tommy Crain and many more.

Tiffany, 80's pop icon, has also been apart of making Jen's dreams come to life when she brought Jen aboard the "Journey Through The 80's Tour” with Debbie Gibson, which included unforgettable appearances on various media networks and talk shows such as "Good Morning America" and "The View". Since then she has traveled the world with Tiffany from Eurpoe to Singapore.

Jen loves being in the studio, however she loves the thrill of a live show. When she's home, you can catch her performing at her favorite venues in Nashville, like The Stage, Whiskey Bent, Bootleggers Inn and Nashville Crossroads.
